چکیده

Abstract Nanostructured bio-adsorbents were prepared by physical or chemical activation of the residue supercritical extraction raspberry seed. Their physicochemical properties determined elemental analysis, low-temperature nitrogen adsorption/desorption, Boehm titration and scanning electron microscopy. The biocarbon obtained as a result precursor showed basic character surface its S BET was 700 m 2 /g. seed with potassium carbonate favored generation acidic functional groups this 1177 nanostructured biocarbons used for removal Rhodamine B from aqueous solutions. process best described Langmuir isotherm maximum capacity monolayer 181.82 mg/g 277.83 physically chemically activated samples, respectively. adsorption energy Dubinin–Radushkevich indicated that observed physisorption, while kinetics pseudo-second-order model. negative values Gibbs free spontaneous process. Equilibrium, Kinetic and Thermodynamic Studies on Basic Dye Adsorption Using Composite Activated Carbon

Batch adsorption experiments were carried out for the adsorption of cationic dye from aqueous solution onto composite activated carbon. The composite activated carbon was prepared from brewer’s spent grain and sea bean shell at a ratio of 1:1. The equilibrium studies were done at different concentrations and temperatures. The equilibrium data were fitted to Langmuir, Freundlich, Dubinin-Radushk...

Kinetic and thermodynamic control of protein adsorption.

Control of nonspecific protein adsorption is very important for the design of biocompatible and biomimetic materials as well as drug carriers. Grafted polymer layers can be used to prevent protein adsorption. We have studied the molecular factors that determine the equilibrium and kinetic control of protein adsorption by grafted polymer layers. We find that polymers that are not attracted to th...

Physical Chemistry Studies of Acid Dye Removal from Aqueous Media by Mesoporous Nano Composite: Adsorption Isotherm, Kinetic and Thermodynamic Studies

In this research, SBA-15/Polypyrrole (SBA-15/PPy) mesoporous nanocomposite was synthesized, characterized and applied for Acid Blue 62 (AB62) adsorption as a textile dye from aqueous solution. In order to evaluate the structural properties of synthesized adsorbent, FT-IR, FESEM and TEM images, XRD, and BET techniques were applied. Some parameters such as pH, dosage, and time which affect the ba...

Kinetic and thermodynamic studies of adsorption of 4-chloro-2-nitrophenol on nano- Ti02

Adsorption capacity of 4-chloro-2-nitrophenol (4C2NP) onto nano-Ti02 from aqueous solutions wasinvestigated in a batch system by considering the effects of various parameters like contact time, nano-TiO2 dosage, initial pH and initial 4C2NP concentration. Optimum conditions for 4C2NP adsorptionwere found to be initial pH z 2, nano-TiO2 closer- 0.01 g and equilibrium time 1 h. The adsorptionkine...
